Syd is a self taught artist who learned how to draw (when she was very young) through watching her mother draw fashion sketches.
Her mother heavily inspired and encouraged Syd to pursue a career in Art.
My story…
“2025 was a hard year for me and my family and was a massive turning point for me. I have crohns/ colitis disease and at the start of 2025 I was severely ill, many hospital trips many months on the dreaded steroids!
I firstly want to show that I can still be glam and do fun things even with a not so flattering disease like crohns ! I also want to show that I do not let this disease get in the way of my dreams. I am also a carer to my terminally ill mother.
I am determined more than ever this year to finally get back to my true passion that is painting and drawing in hope to make this my full time work!
Right at the end of 2025 I received some good luck which was getting my dream art room! Sometimes you have to go through dark times to see the light, always remember tomorrow is another day…
